SIYS is an innovative not-for-profit organization founded by Musap (Moose) Abdel. The organization is dedicated to empowering youth, particularly those from diverse and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, through entrepreneurship mentorship and skills training. SIYS aims to provide individuals with the tools and resources they need to overcome adversity and achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
SIYS focuses on a variety of initiatives, including developing a Learning Management System (LMS) to expand its reach and impact, particularly through its program “Dream it, Plan it, Build it.” The organization also plays a significant role in the community by providing support, education, and training, to foster inclusivity and empowerment.
The organization’s values center around togetherness, inclusion, empowerment, and service, reflecting its commitment to building a supportive and inclusive community. SIYS also emphasizes the importance of practical assistance, including donations of items like furniture and clothing, to support those in need.
SIYS is governed by a Board of Directors made up of devoted community-minded volunteers and operates through funding from both government and private organizations. From our humble beginnings, SIYS has grown its impact towards from 40 youth to 250+ and still counting. SIYS now operates and is in full ownership of the organization under its leadership and Founder Musap (Moose)Abdel
