SIYS is a transformative, community-centered organization deeply committed to empowering youth through holistic and impactful social programs. Rooted in social work principles, SIYS strives to create sustainable change by building youth capacity, resilience, and self-efficacy. At the heart of its mission is the development of a Learning Management System (LMS) to broaden access and deepen the reach of its core program, “Dream it, Plan it, Build it.” This initiative equips youth with essential skills for overcoming systemic barriers, fostering a sense of agency, and realizing their potential.

Driven by values of togetherness, inclusion, empowerment, and service, SIYS envisions a supportive, equitable, and inclusive community where youth can thrive. Through direct assistance—ranging from educational resources to essential items like furniture and clothing—SIYS addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of youth and their families, enhancing community well-being and promoting social justice.

Supported by a dedicated Board of Directors and backed by both public and private funders, SIYS has grown from a grassroots initiative into a powerful agent of change. Under the visionary leadership of Founder Musap (Moose) Abdel, SIYS has impacted the lives of over 275+ youth and continues to grow its reach. As a wholly self-directed organization, SIYS exemplifies community-driven transformation and stands as a beacon of empowerment, resilience, and hope in the lives of those it serves.
